유닉스 ttyname failed 오류 처리방법

root 자동로그인으로 변경하고, 리부팅을 하면, 아래와 같이 오류 메세지가 나온다.

x window 가 없는 리눅스라면 콘솔에 다음과 같은 오류메세지가 출력된다

Error found when loading /root/.profile
    mesg: ttyname failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device
    As result the session will not be configured correctly.
    You should fix the problem as soon as feasible.

터미널을 열어서,

vi /root/.profile

라고 치고, .profile 을 편집한다.

vi 에디터에서,

mesg n || true

이렇게 써있는 부분을 아래와 같이 수정해주고, 재부팅

tty -s && mesg n
